Admissions
Admission to Birchwood Grove is done through West Sussex County Council. Click on the logo below to be directed to the West Sussex admissions page on their website; here you will find all the information you should need and a link to the online application process.

Reception Year admissions
At Birchwood Grove our current published admission number is 60. All reception children are offered full time provision from the first available opportunity, whether they are statutory school age or below. We ensure that children below the statutory age (currently 3 and 4 years old) have a minimum of 15 hours per week for the full 38 weeks of the academic year.
The children start in September with a staggered start to school to ensure the transition is as smooth and settled as possible. This will be reviewed annually to take account of the start date of the autumn term.
Open Events for pupils starting in September 2026:
We are thrilled that we have had so much interest in our school and have offer 180 places to parents and carers over our 3 open events. Unfortunately all of our open events are now full, due to staff commitments we are unable to offer tours at other times. please take a look at our on-line tour and prospectus.

Thursday November 27th: 9:15-10:30 - Full
Thursday December 4th: 9:15-10:30 - Full
Open Evening:
Tuesday December 2nd: 6:15-7:30 - Full
EXTRA TOURS AROUND THE SCHOOL:
We have had a number of enquiries about having a tour of the school as our open mornings and evenings were full. We have added two dates where you are welcome to have a tour with our amazing Year 6 ambassadors and a member of the leadership will also be available to answer any questions. Unfortunately due to Christmas events this tours will need to be after school at 3:45pm, if you would like to book on either tour please call the school office.
